Eid al-Adha, also known as Bakri Eid, is observed as a festival of sacrifice for Muslims, celebrated on the tenth day of Dhul Hijaah. Muslim communities around the world pay their obedience to the Prophet on this day.

For the unskilled, Eid al-Adha, also known as the festival of sacrifice, is the last month of the Muslim lunar calendar. It will be held on July 31, 2020 this year. It is the end of the Hajj pilgrimage (Mecca, Saudi Arabia), which is the holiest place for Muslims. Visiting Hajj is said to cleanse the soul of sins and also instill a sense of brotherhood and sisterhood. An essential part of the celebration is the slaughter of goats. Due to the coronavirus, there will be various restrictions on the celebration of the day.

In addition to slaughtering goats, it is imperative that all Muslims begin their day with additional prayers in the morning. In fact, most mosques are full of large groups of people, but this year will be different due to government restrictions. The number of people who can attend will have to be limited and large gatherings to reduce the spread of the new coronavirus will be banned.

As for the sacrifice, people can do it with a goat or a sheep, depending on what one can pay. The news abounds that this year the cattle were sold online. The sacrificed meat is divided into three parts: the family that sacrificed it, the extended families and the needy.

Here are some wishes, greetings, and images that you can share with your loved ones.
