CBI investigates only if Sushant’s father wants: Nitish Kumar | Hindi Movie News

PATNA / MUMBAI: The state government will act only if Sushant Singh Rajput’s father demands an CBI investigation into his son’s suicide case, Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar told a television channel on Saturday. This happened even when MP Biush Modi from Bihar said that the Uddhav Thackeray government in Maharashtra was under pressure from the “Congress-funded Bollywood mafia”, and this was why he was hell-bent on saving all the elements related to the case.

Nitish said the Maharashtra police should cooperate with the Bihar police in the investigation. “It is the legal duty and role of the Bihar police, since an FIR has been filed in Patna,” he said, adding that there was no confrontation between the police in the two states.

But his deputy spoke in a confrontational tone. In a scathing attack, Sushil Modi asked, “What will Congress show the people of Bihar?” In a series of tweets in Hindi, he expressed his anger against the coalition government led by Shiv Sena in Maharashtra for creating obstacles for the visiting Bihar police team investigating the death of the 34-year-old actor.

Meanwhile, Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi demanding justice for her brother who died last month.

Kirti posted a short note on social media, urging the prime minister to make sure the evidence is not tampered with. “We are from a very simple family. My brother didn’t have a godfather when he was in Bollywood, nor do we have anyone at the moment, “he wrote.
