An externally funded project, the Manipur Water Supply Project was designed to provide residential drinking water connections (FHTC) to the remaining households in the Greater Imphal planning area, and to 1,731 rural dwellings covering 2,80,756 households in the 16 districts of Manipur.
Project disbursement is Rs 3054.58 crore, with a loan component financed by the New Development Bank.
