Hyundai headquarters imt: Hyundai debuts iMT, presents the sporty fit of the place
The Venue Sport trim will be offered with the 1.5-liter U2 CRDi Diesel BS6 (6MT) engine, as well as the Kappa 1.0 l T-GDi Petrol BS6 (iMT / 7DCT) engine.
Hyundai’s iMT technology features a transmission gear shift lever (TGS) with intent sensor, hydraulic actuator, and transmission control unit (TCU). The system has been designed to offer a perfect driving experience by incorporating cohesive logic between the various components in manual transmissions.
The debut of the Intelligent Manual Transmission (iMT) offering a clutchless drive experience is available on Venue SX and SX (O), as well as Venue on Sport Trim on SX and SX (O).
The sporty fit at Venue now features sporty D-cut steering with Kappa 1.0 l T-GDi gasoline shift paddles. A new dual-tone color: Titan Gray with Phantom Black Roof is also introduced in the finish.
The sporty fit with iMT, Kappa Petrol starts at Rs 10.20 lakh (ex-showroom), DCT at Rs 11.58 lakh (ex-showroom). On the other hand, the venue with iMT (without sports equipment) is priced at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards.
Hyundai Venue iMT will compete against the upcoming Kia Sonet, which will also feature the same technology.
