LUCKNOW: Acting on the allegations of Basic Shiksha Adhikaris (BSA), the police of five more districts: Rae Bareli, Ambedkarnagar, Bagpat, Aligarh and Saharanpur – FIR filed against ‘Anamika Shukla‘Who is accused of working at 25 Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBV) simultaneously for 13 months and taking home approximately Rs 1 crore as wages.
Kasganj police arrested a Priya Singh who was working on Anamika Shukla’s credentials on Saturday. This led the police to believe that several people could pose as Shukla, using their academic records, but the real Shukla remains elusive.
When TOI first reported on her on June 4, they found her working on Rae Bareli. Later, she was also seen at a KGBV in Baghpat and Kasganj. However, in Kasganj, the police discovered that the woman who worked as Anamika was actually Priya. UP basic education minister Satish Dwivedi accepted that ‘Shukla’ was found working in at least four KGBVs and ordered an investigation of the records of the 746 residential girls’ schools.
While a FIR has already been filed against Anamika Shukla in the five districts mentioned above, the Varanasi and Amethi BSA have yet to file a formal complaint.
She has also reportedly been found working in these districts.
Furthermore, the Gonda police said that based on the information provided by BSA Indrajeet PrajapatiThe defendant Anamika Shuka purchased her Class X from Kasturba Balika Inter College and then Class XII from Beni Madhav Jang Bahadur Inter College in Paraspur district. Additional Director General of Police, Law and Order Prashant Kumar told TOI that the education department started an internal investigation and then managed to get FIR registered by acting on the report of the Uttar Pradesh Special work team.
“We are waiting for FIRs to be filed against different ‘Anamikas’ across the state and then if the need for a special cell or the STF arises, they will be given the investigation,” Kumar said.
According to the BSA complaint, Rae Bareli, Anand Prakash, Anamika joined as a science teacher at KGBV in Bachhrawan in March 2019. “During a preliminary investigation, it emerged that Anamika Shukla has also served in Ambedkarnagar, Saharanpur, Bagpat, Aligarh, Varanasi, Kasganj, Amethi, ”Prakash said in his FIR to the police.
Prakash further added that Anamika received several reminders to appear in person at the office, but never appeared, while on May 26 he sent in his resignation. A FIR on charges of dishonesty, impersonation deception, valuable security forgery, forgery for the purpose of cheating, using as a genuine forged document was filed against her.
In the FIR hosted at Ambedkarnagar, BSA Atul Singh has stated that Anamika Shukla remained ad hoc as a science teacher at Alapur KGBV in March 2019. Later, it became known that she was also serving elsewhere, after which several letters Asked to visit the office, they were sent from March 7 to May 6, 2020. These letters were also addressed to his father Subash Shukla in Mainpuri, but there was no response.
Similarly, like another FIR filed by Rajeev Ranjan Mishra, BSA, Baraut, Anamika Shukla got a job in December 2019. Later, due to some technical errors in the transfer of funds, Shukla was asked to appear before the Office of the Assistant Director of Basic Education. , in Meerut with all his documents, but sent a resignation letter on WhatsApp on March 13, 2020.
Two other FIRs were registered at the Janakpuri Police Station in Saharanpur District and the Aligarh District Pali Mukimpur Police Station on charges of dishonesty.
