Prime Minister Narendra Modi commends Akshay Kumar and Varun Dhawan for their contribution to the CARES fund


COVID-19 has paralyzed the entire world and India is currently under lock and key to combat the current coronavirus pandemic. Actors Akshay Kumar and Varun Dhawan recently performed to contribute to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s CARES fund.

Sharing the same on Twitter, Akki wrote: “The PM-CARES Fund accepts micro donations as well. It will strengthen disaster management capabilities and encourage research on the protection of citizens. Let us not leave stone unturned to make India healthier and more prosperous for our future generations. ”

Even Varun took his Twitter account and shared this great news with everyone. “I promise to contribute Rs 30,000 to the PM CARE fund. Let’s get through this. Desh hai toh hum hain. ”

Not only his fans, but even Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the talented actors for their contribution. He took his Twitter account to recognize his great gesture. Praising Khiladi Kumar, Prime Minister Modi wrote: “Great gesture @akshaykumar. Let’s continue donating for a healthier India. ”

Responding to Varun’s tweet, the Prime Minister accepted his thoughts as he wrote: “Well said and well done @Varun_dvn! #IndiaFightsCorona ”

Many other celebrities like Prabhas, Karan Johar, Taapsee Pannu, Rajkummar Rao, Ayushmann Khurrana and others also pledged to support people and donated to PM Modi CARES Fund.
