Tata Trusts promises Rs 500 million to fight Covid-19


NEW DELHI: Tata Sons President Emeritus Ratan Tata announced on Saturday a commitment of Rs 500 million to protect and empower communities affected by the deadly coronavirus. The amount will be contributed jointly by Tata Trusts, Tata Sons and the companies of the Tata Group.

The fund will be used to provide personal protective equipment for frontline medical personnel, respiratory systems, test kits, installation of modular treatment facilities, knowledge management, and training of health workers.
