Taarak Mehta producer Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Asit Modi, issues a statement after Raj Thackeray’s MNS apologizes

The creators of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah received an open threat from the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena party of Raj Thackeray for calling the Hindi language as the most common language of Mumbai. The president of the movie wing Ameya Khopkar demanded an apology from the creators. Now, the last thing about the same thing is that producer Asit Kumarr Modi has taken to Twitter and declared that there is no doubt that in Mumbai Marathi it is the main language. He also said that he is Maharashtrian, Gujarati and that as an Indian he respects the whole language.

The creators also broadcast a segment in tonight’s episode (March 3) clarifying their position and declared that the only thing they like to spread is love.

Asit Modi shared the video on his Twitter account and retweeted the message: “The only thing we believe in spreading love and happiness! We apologize if we have hurt any feelings through our program. We believe in unity in diversity and respect for each and every one. ” Religion and its mother tongue. Keep smiling and keep watching #TMKOC! ”

For the uninitiated, in the episode last night, Bapu Ji (Amit Bhatt) tells his son Jethalal (Dilip Joshi) and other residents of his society to use the Hindi language to end a dispute by writing a Suvichar on the board of society in a preferred language. He advises them that they are in Mumbai, therefore, they should use Hindi, which everyone can understand. Share if they had been in a different city, they would have used that particular language. Bapu Ji tells them that they could have solved their problem by writing the ‘suvichar’ in different languages, and then explained its meaning at the end in Hindi.

Ameya Khopkar wrote a warning note for the actors and creators of TMKOC indicating that despite knowing that Marathi is the main language of Mumbai, they promote such propaganda. He said that these Gujarati insects should be stopped. In addition, he mentioned in the tweet note that Maharashtrian actors who are part of the program should be ashamed to support such a statement.

MNS Secretary General Shalini Thackeray also criticized the manufacturers and warned TMKOC manufacturers of serious consequences.
