However, the official DPIFF team issued an open statement saying that said certificate of recognition has not been issued by any member of the DPIFF team or the partners involved in the event and is therefore considered falsified.
The statement said: “This immoral and unpleasant attempt by Mahira Sharma to obtain publicity and personal benefits by falsifying a high-reputation award and showing his name in a counterfeit category has created irreversible damage to the image and reputation of the brand. The DPIFF team issued a letter of intimidation of such an act to Mahira Sharma asking him to eliminate all deceptive public relations activities carried out by her and her team and has asked him to share a written public apology to the brand within the next 48 hours. Failure to do so will result in legal proceedings against her and all others involved in the preparation of said alleged history and certificate.
