Ivanka Trump: I am honored to return to India | India News

NEW DELHI: Ivanka Trump, daughter and adviser to the president of the United States, Donald Trump, praised on Sunday the “great friendship between the two largest democracies in the world.”

In a tweet, Ivanka said he has the honor of returning to India.

“Two years after joining @narendramodi at the Global Business Summit in Hyderabad, I am honored to return to India with @POTUS and @FLOTUS to celebrate that the great friendship between the two largest democracies in the world has never been more strong!” Ivanka tweeted.

Ivanka visited India to attend the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) in Hyderabad in November 2017, and had dinner with world delegates at Taj Falaknuma Palace.

“Globally, between 2014 and 2016, business activity among women increased by 10 percent. In the US, in the last decade, the number of women-owned businesses increased by 45 percent. Minority women have started almost 8 out of 10 new women-owned businesses, “Ivanka said while addressing the meeting at the GES event.

He commended Modi for demonstrating that “transformational change is possible.”

This time, she is accompanying Trump along with her husband Jared Kushner and several high-profile officials, such as Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross, Energy Secretary Dan Brouillette, Acting Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney and National Security Advisor Robert O’Brien.
