The two have previously collaborated on the movie Mulk, which premiered in 2018. In addition to Taapsee, the film also featured Rishi Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Rajat Kapoor, Ashutosh Rana, Manoj Pahwa, Prateik Babbar, Neena Gupta and Kumud Mishra.

Either Badla or Saand Ki Aankh, over the years, Taapsee has made some bold decisions in his career. Speaking about the space he is in, he said: “When you cross 30, people tend to say that you are getting older, and I say that I am only getting better. The 20s try to want validation. The mentality of “Sabko main achhi lagni chahiye”. The need for validation ends when you are 30 years old, so it is much better. You go from “I want to look or be like someone” to “I want to make my own way”. Also, when you enter your 30 years, you’ve already been through enough shit in your life, so you accept that it is; Take it or leave it. I started acting about eight years ago and if you see my photos when I was a decade younger, you will say that it is good that you no longer look like this (laughs). I don’t want to be awkward and strange again 22 years old. I don’t want to go back to that age. I am happy to be 32 years old. Aging has worked in my favor and how! ”
