WELLINGTON: Before the series of two test matches against New Zealand, the High Commission of India organized a reception for the Men in Blue in Wellington on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, employer Kohli said that New Zealand always plays with the right spirit and that if India shared the number one place with someone, it would definitely be the Kiwis.

“We are very honored to be here. We want to thank you for inviting us here. Visiting the High Commission of India is always special, we enjoy meeting our own people,” Kohli said.

“If we were to share the number one place with any other team, it would be New Zealand. We had a great time here, the hospitality has been amazing. We felt very welcome here. We lost the ODI series, but now we are having a real cricket that wait, that’s the cricket test, “he added.

In the classification of the World Test Championship, India is in first place, while New Zealand is in sixth position.
