PM Modi does not behave as prime minister: Rahul Gandhi | India News

NEW DELHI: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said Friday that he does not behave like a prime minister.

He also claimed that the uproar in Lok Sabha was “orchestrated” to prevent him from questioning the government.

“Normally, a prime minister has a particular state, a prime minister has a particular form of behavior, a particular stature, our prime minister does not have these. He does not behave in a ministerial manner,” he told reporters outside Parliament. .

Gandhi said this when asked about Modi’s “tubelight” comment on him during his response to the motion of thanks to the president’s address at Lok Sabha.

He also said that “we are being suffocated and we are not allowed to speak in Parliament.”

“They have suppressed our voices,” he said.

There was uproar in the Lok Sabha over comments made by BJP deputy Harsh Vardhan against Gandhi. The Chamber was closed for the day at 2 pm.

“The orchestrated uproar in Parliament today was designed to prevent it from questioning the Government. The youth of India can clearly see that the prime minister has no idea how to address the unemployment crisis. To protect it, the BJP will continue to disrupt Parliament, avoiding debate, “said the leader of Congress.
