NEW DELHI: The deputy of the BJP, Tejasvi Surya, invoked on Wednesday the reference of the protest of Shaheen Bagh against the Law of Amendment of Citizenship (CAA) in the parliament while affirming that the days of ‘Mughal Raj’ are not far to Delhi if the ‘patriotic Indians don’t do it’. Get up’.

Referring to the protest in Shaheen Bagh against the CAA, the member of Parliament representing the constituency of South Bengaluru said: “What is happening today in Shaheen Bagh in Delhi is a clear reminder that if the majority of this country does not he is vigilant, the patriotic Indians do. Don’t resist it, the days of Mughal Raj returning to Delhi are not far away. ”

Later in the day, qualifying Shaheen Bagh’s protests as a symbol of ‘Islamic fanaticism’, Surya tweeted: “Shaheen Bagh is a symbol of Islamic fanaticism in the attire of constitutional secularism. While the hollow opposition is delivered to lies and slander. Narendra Modi the government moves forward with the history of development in India. ”

A protest against the CAA takes place for more than 50 days in Shaheen Bagh of Delhi.

The CAA grants citizenship to Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, parsis, Buddhists and Christians fleeing the religious persecution of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh and who arrived in India on December 31, 2014 or earlier.
