“I had the opportunity to interact with the people of Delhi during the elections. Delhi is tired of false promises, appeasement and anarchy, now wants development. Seeing support for BJP in Delhi makes it clear that on February 11 BJP will form the win more than 45 seats in Delhi, “Shah tweeted on the last campaign day for the Delhi assembly elections.
In his previous tweets, Shah shared photos and videos of his tours in Madipur and the Seemapuri constituencies held on Thursday. In one of these tweets, Shah said that the large participation of people in the BJP demonstrations was a sign of the party’s popularity in Delhi.
Shah was accompanied by the head of LJP, Chirag Paswan, and the president of Delhi BJP, Manoj Tiwari, on the tour in Seemapuri.
BJP is conducting a ‘Janasampark Abhiyan’ throughout the city in an attempt to reach each home and ask them to vote for it in the next election.
While the campaign for the elections to the Delhi assembly ends at 6pm on Thursday, Shah is expected to hold two more tours in the constituency of the Hari Nagar assembly.
The Deputy Chief Minister and leader of the AAP, Manish Sisodia, also has a ‘padyatra’ in his constituency of the Patparganj assembly.
Voting for the 70 constituencies of the assembly in Delhi is scheduled for February 8 and the vote count will take place on February 11.
