‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ by Ajay Devgn has a better box office occupation compared to Deepika Padukone’s ‘Chhapaak’; Read the details of the reading ? Hindi Movie News

Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan and Kajol’s long-awaited period drama ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ has been released today alongwith Deepika Padukone’s ‘Chhapaak’. While the buzz around both films was equivalent, ‘Chhapaak’ became the social media chat because Deepika joined the student at JNU to express her support.

Even after the buzz and controversies in which the film was embroiled just before its release, Meghna Gulzar’s director has a fair start of 15-20% with Delhi and Bangalore being neck-to-neck with ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’, according to the latest Box Office India report.

On the other hand, Ajay and Kajol’s film began well with an occupation at 20-25% shows at morning shows. The film got off to a good start in Maharashtra due to its regional appeal, but ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ saw a lower number in the rest of the country.

The report further suggested that it is a reasonable start to a women-led film and the goal will be to surpass the number of films such as Alia Bhatt’s ‘Raazi’ and Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi’. Despite the tax exemption that ‘Chhapaak’ has in many states, the film’s collections would hardly be compatible with it.

While several city B celebrities go out and support both films on social media, it will be a difficult choice for the public. But according to this report, Ajay’s ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ surely has the advantage over Deepika’s ‘Chhapaak’ in early occupation.
