“Deepika should learn from Amitabh, who never uttered a word against the homeland,” says BJP MP MLA News – Hindi Movie

Amid the controversy over Deepika Padukone’s visit to Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), BJP MLA from Bhopal, Rameshwar Sharma has advised Bollywood diva to learn from superstar Amitabh Bachchan that he never uttered a single word against the Homeland. Sharma said there is a thin line between “sympathy and truth” and actors need to realize it.

“If Deepika wants to be a successful actor in the country, he must learn from Mahanayak Amitabh Bachchan, The Superstar, who has never plunged a single word against the homeland. Today the whole world knows him as the most powerful actor of the century. Despite being the most successful in the film industry, he never made any comments just because he is well aware of the truth,” Sharma told TOI of the controversy.

Raising questions about the film actress after her appearance at JNU, Sharma said: “Deepika Padukone stands with those who are anti-national. He’s got two hit movies on his account. You must understand the difference between “sympathy” and the truth behind a “politically supported turmoil.”

The BJP’s state vice president also has a tip for Bolloywood personalities who sympathize with UNJ protesters. After targeting Padukone, Sharma also hit the writer, the poet Javed Akhtar, and said, “Whether it’s Deepika Padukone or Javed Akhtar, you must understand that if you’re with those who burn India, then this country won’t accept you. Deepika and Javed should understand the nation of Mahatma Gandhi,” said the BJP MLA.
