CTET 2014 results declared

New Delhi, Oct 10 (): Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi which conducted Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on 21st September 2014 has announced the results on its official website.

Candidates who appeared for Central Teacher Eligibility Test on the above mentioned date may download the CTET results 2014 in the following official website at http://ctet.nic.in

To download the CTET 2014 results, candidates may follow the below steps:

Log on to the official website at http://ctet.nic.in

Click the link tilted as CTET 2014 results.

Enter name, reg no and other details as instructed.

CTET 2014 results will appear on the screen.

Candidates may take a printout of their results.

Cut-off marks for the written exam will be uploaded in the official web portal soon. As per reports received, a total of 2,32,530 candidates appeared for  CTET 2014 Paper –I  across the country out of which 24,629 candidates have qualified.

In Paper II, a total of 4, 26,583 candidates appeared out of which 12,843 candidates have qualified.

Central Board of Secondary Education earlier issued a notification of CTET 2014 and invited candidates to apply for the mentioned posts through online mode.

Applications were accepted from eligible candidates who fulfilled all the basic needs as recommended by the CBSE. CTET is conducted once in a year and candidates have no limitation in attempting CTET.

CTET was introduced in an order to ensure that persons recruited as teachers possess the essential ability to meet the challenges of teaching at the primary and upper primary level.

According to RTE Act, candidates appointed as teachers in government sector need to qualify TET conducted by the government as per the guidelines framed by the NCTE.
