Mumbai, Sep 24 (): Upcoming Bollywood action entertainer “Bang Bang” said to be the official remake of Tom Cruise-starrer “Knight and Day” is different from the original and it is better, says the lead actor of the movie Hrithik Roshan.
A mobile game was launched based on the much-anticipated action romance ‘Bang Bang’ on September 23, by Hrithik Roshan in the presence of Nazara Technologies CEO Nitish Mittersain. Nazara Technologies is one of the chief mobile game developers and publishers and they have developed the mobile game for Bang Bang.
At the launch event of the Bang Bang mobile game, Hrithik was asked his movie Bang Bang being a remake of a Hollywood movie, how much pressure he had felt to live up to it.
The 40-year-old answered that Bang Bang movie is much different from the original version and always better. He said it was not the same, but an entirely different film and added if one did not know the fact that it was a remake, while watching Bang Bang it would not even occur that the film was a remake movie of Knight And Day.
Fox Star Studios has produced Bang Bang, which has Katrina Kaif as the lead lady and releases on October 2. Apart from Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif, the film also features other stars such as Danny Denzongpa, Pavan Malhotra and Jaaved Jaffrey in pivotal roles.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, the Indianized version has Hrithik and Katrina playing the roles of a secret agent and his accidental partner respectively.
The film will also release in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously.
As the release date of the movie is nearing, the actor is busy promoting his movie wherever he can. Recently both Hrithik and Katrina were seen promoting their film at Pantaloons.
