The security officer on orders from the Principal stopped them and the students disbursed. The students were shocked to see their suspension order on the notice board. The notice said that the senior students mentioned in the notice wore black badges and shouted slogans at the inaugural function of first year students. It is however silent on the reason for this act by students.

Ironically, the college is the sister organization of Muslim Educational society Qatar which has a public school. It then formed Indian Education Society and opened a public school in Thrissur and went on start the engineering, training and architecture college.
