KBC 8 launched in Surat, Kapil Sharma is Amitabh Bachchan’s first guest

Mumbai, Aug 3 (): The eighth season of television game reality show “Kaun Banega Crorepati” (KBC) was launched in a grand style on Saturday by Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan in Surat, the diamond city of India.

The shoot for the first week has already been finished and the shooting that went on Saturday is for Surat show. The show that was organized at Surat International Exhibition and Convention Centre reportedly had the maximum viewership for the game show. The auditorium was 7,000 seat-capacity; the show ran jam-packed as the event kicked off with Kapil Sharma, unique comedian whose one-liners have tickled the guests.

It is the first time Kapil Sharma is coming to ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’. But, Amitabh has appeared for the promotions of his film Bhootnath Returns in Kapil Sharma’s show.

Kapil Sharma entered the stage entertaining the audience as always. Then, he welcomed Amitabh on the stage, who came in with dancers dancing to his hit songs like “Pyar humein kis mod pe le aayaa”, “Main hoon Don” and “Sara zamana”, playing and combining the songs with his famed dialogues.

The eighth season of the Kaun Banega Crorepati, KBC 8 will start from 18th of July on Sony TV. This time the prize money for the show is Rs.7 crore, and Big B has tagged a line to the show as “Kaun Banega Mahacrorepati”.

The eighth season of KBC will have the theme of connecting between different communities and respect for each other. Already, the promos are showing on televisions. They give out a message on the show on religious tolerance, harmony and peace. The tagline of the show says ‘Yahan Sirf Paise Nahi, Dil Bhi Jeete Jaate Hain’ (You not only win money here, but win hearts too).

The 71-year-old had changed the history of Indian television by associating himself with the show since 2000 from the show’s first season. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan had hosted it for one season.
