Pawan Kalyan to play Krishna in Gopala Gopala, Telugu remake of Oh My God

Hyderabad, July 24 (): Tollywood star Pawan Kalyan is all set to play Lord Krishna in Gopala Gopala, the Telugu remake of OMG: Oh My God. The actor will appear in the movie for 25 minutes and he has started shooting for the movie last Monday.

Pawan Kalyan will reprise the role done by Akshay Kumar in the original movie and actor Daggubati Venkatesh is playing the character done by Paresh Rawal.

Director of Gopala Gopala, Kishore Kumar said that Pawan started his shooting portions from Monday. The scope for his character is very limited and will be for only 25 minutes in the movie. But, all the scenes done by the actor will be filled with plenty of comedy. The director assured that the scenes between Venkatesh and Pawan will certainly be liked by all class of audiences.

The second schedule of shooting is going on now. As Venkatesh has been busy with the shooting of Gopala Gopala since a few days back, Pawan Kalyan has joined the sets for a 10 day schedule. The shooting of Gopala Gopala is going on in full swing and the film is likely to release for Sankaranthi 2015.

Venkatesh said he was thrilled to be acting with Pawan Kalyan and this is the first time he is working with Pawan. Venkatesh added he was so excited about this opportunity and his fans are also so excited about this.

Earlier, the actor had said both of them have some pleasing dialogues and he is so sure that the audiences will like their performance together.

Apart from Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh, Gopala Gopala also features Shriya Saran, Murli Sharma and Mithun Chakraborty in important roles. Anoop Rubens is composing music for the film while Jayanan Vincent is handling camera.
