Mumbai, July 21 (): Salman Khan’s this year Eid release, ‘Kick’ is creating lot of buzz among the masses as the actor and director Sajid Nadiadwala are making out all possible promotions for the film and doing aggressive marketing plans worldwide.
To promote Kick in an extensive way, Salman Khan has recently launched a new gaming app on Windows mobile and android platform. The game is based on Salman’s film ‘Kick’. The player takes up the role of ‘Devil’ (name of Salman Khan in the movie) in the game and boards upon a kindly yet thrilling journey in which he steals from the corrupt and rich and deposits the money in bank for charitable reasons.
The game includes numerous hurdles like safety alarms, lasers, street corners, manholes and many more. The user gets to play the game in style and he has to escape from the cops. The game was launched by Salman and the Interactive business of Disney India.
The makers have been using many techniques to promote their film in a right manner. They did the trailer launch amid thousands of huge fanfare and common people. Also they launched the songs in an extravagant style. Now, they have launched Kick app. They are leaving no stone unturned before the film hits theatres.
It is not new that a Salman’s movie is creating buzz in the markets. Previously, his movies Wanted (2009), Dabangg (2010) and Ek Tha Tiger (2012) have made magic in the Bollywood industry. The actor is famously known for his action-packed movies and he enjoys a huge fan-following too. So, it not new to see such a craze among audience prior to the release. But, trade insiders say this year expectations is much more than they have witnessed before.
Ashish Saksena,COO, Big Cinemas said that Kick is the most expected film of the year and this is obvious from the hysteria the film has generated through the trailer and songs of the movie.
