New Delhi, July 8 (): AICTE which conducts National level Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) every year in India has notified to conduct CMAT in Foreign Countries also for providing eligible NRIs/PIOs and foreign nationals to appear in CMAT in order to seek admission in institutions in India following CMAT merit list for 2015-16 under special provisions defined in AICTE approval process and against all vacancies left after conclusion of centralized admission in management institutions.
AICTE has announced the schedule for conducting First Test of Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) for admission for 2015-16.
Candidates should hold graduation in any discipline.
Final Year students of Graduate courses who expect their results before commencement of admission may also apply.
Merit list details for allotting the students through central counseling as per their notified admission procedure will be notified to the respective state governments.
Online registration starts from 3rd July 2014 to 25th August 2014.
Candidates will be provided with choice of 3 dates and 3 cities within the country for online examination.
Candidates will be allotted on the subject to availability of the slot in a particular city.
For General/OBC candidates- Rs 1200/- including bank charges as applicable
For SC/ST/PD candidates – Rs 700/- including bank charges.
Note: Candidates appearing for the test in India only can pay the fee in cash through challan generated online or can deposit the amount in any branch of State Bank of India in India.
