Mumbai, June 19 (): The first song from Salman Khan’s much-anticipated “Kick” will be launched tomorrow, June 20, Friday. The makers of the film have chosen this date as it is Jumma (Friday), considered to be an auspicious day for Muslims.
This song is a peppy track featuring Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez. Ahmed Khan has choreographed the song, whereas the music for the film is scored by Himesh Reshamiyya and the background score is by Julius Packiam.
The song is being launched in quick series of trailer launch that happened on June 15 at a suburban single-screen along with thousands of Salman fans. The trailer has become a big hit just within few hours of its launch. “Kick” trailer has received more than 60 lakh hits in just three days.
Director Sajid Nadiadwala, who makes his directorial debut with the film said the song will be a great treat for all Salman Khan fans. He said the song has been made on a lavish scale and shot in underground style. They had tried to give an edgy and grungy feel to the song, Sajid added.
Kick is a remake of the 2009 Tollywood movie of same name. The remake stars Salman as a polite and instantaneous thief who takes the name Devil. The cop role in the film is played by Randeep Hooda. Saurabh Shukla and Nawazuddin Siddiqui play the supporting roles in the movie.
Kick is slated to hit theatres in July on Eid. Prior to give a big treat to the fans on Eid day, the makers have planned to give a brief introduction this Friday with the Kick’s peppy number ‘Jumme Ki Raat’. In addition, reports say one another song from Kick, believed to be composed and sung by Himesh Reshammiya is also likely to be released soon.
