Yudh trailer : Amitabh Bachchan’s debut TV series looks interesting

Mumbai, June 3 (): The much expected trailer of Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s debut TV series, Yudh has been released on May 31 online. The trailer of the show looks interesting.

The debut TV series of Big B is named after his character, Yudhisthir Skarwar, on the show. The series will start airing on Sony channel soon. Besides unveiling the trailer online, the makers unveiled the trailer of Yudh on television during the extra innings show of the IPL finals on the night of June 1.

Amitabh Bachchan announced this exciting news through his Twitter page. He tweeted, “The promos or the first look of the new television serial that I work on shall be revealed tomorrow during the Finals of the IPL. See, look, discuss, obtain and finally give in to the peoples choice.”

The creative director of Yudh is Anurag Kashyap, whereas director Shoojit Sircar has directed few parts of the series. The show also includes actors such as Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Kay Kay Menon and Sarika – all of them feature in the trailer too.

The story of Yudh is set in corporate world and it deals with the struggles and journey of Yudhisthir Skarwar in his personal and professional life. Yudhisthir struggles with his failing health, battles with his business rivals and with his intricate family equations in the show. Big B is playing a rich businessman in Yudh.

This show is Amitabh Bachchan’s first fiction on small screen and it looks to be great on drama. It is said the show is motivated from the famous American crime drama TV series titled Breaking Bad.

Yudh is a combined production of Sarawati Creations (company of Amitabh Bachchan) and Endemol India. The show has 20 hours of content to be presented as a daily programme. It is also hyped to be the most expensive show of India.
