Mumbai, June 3 (): VJ Andy, who is one of the contestants of the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’s seventh season, says the coming season will be tougher than the earlier ones.
In an interview given by VJ Andy on Saturday, he said he was very excited to be in the shooting of ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’. He said this season seems to be a very, very ramped up show as the contestants of this season look very amazing. He had seen some of the performances and they all are amazing. He added that this season is going to be very difficult leading one raise the bar each time one comes back on the stage.
VJ Andy has hosted Get Gorgeous 3 and Dare 2 Date on Channel V. He became popular by appearing in Bigg Boss 7, which was hosted by Salman Khan. He said he chose ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ as his fans wished to see him on small screen.
Andy said that audience had been asking him on social media and wherever he went, when they would get to see him on TV. ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ was an option for him. When he was offered to be a contestant in ‘Jhalak’, he was quite happy and immediately accepted to go ahead with the offer.
Andy said that he has a dance background. Though he had danced 12 years ago, he is confident that he could show off his dance skills excellently even after a long break.
The confirmed contestants of the seventh season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa will be S. Sreesanth, Sophie Choudry, Purab Kohli, Mouni Roy, Kritika Kamra, Kiku Sharda as Palak, VJ Andy, Shakti Mohan, Sukhwinder Singh, Akshat Singh, Ashish Sharma, Karan Tacker and Puja Banerjee.
Madhuri Dixit, Karan Johar and Remo D’souza will judge the show.
