Rajinikanth debuts on Twitter

Chennai, May 5 (): Superstar Rajinikanth, ahead of the release of his much-talked film Kochadaiiyaan, announced his debut with the microblogging network Twitter on Monday.

Rajinikanth will connect with his fans through his handle Twitter.com/SuperStarRajini or @SuperStarRajini. The Twitter account of the actor can also be followed by the fans by simply giving a missed call or dialling at 080 6700 6666 to get their hero’s tweets, which is possible due to a global integration between Twitter India and ZipDial.

On joining the network, the Superstar said he was looking forward to catch up on the “best Rajini one-liners”. His first tweet reads: “Salutation to the Lord. Vanakkam anaivarukkum !! A big thank you to all my fans. Excited on this digital journey”.

CA Media’s celebritity digital network Fluence will manage the digital presence and identity of Rajinikanth. In just a few minutes of opening Rajini’s Twitter account, it gained over 2000 followers. It is sure, the actor, who is famous for his stylish dialogue delivery and movements, willl become active in a couple of days.

The official statement given by Rajinikanth stated that he had been planning to joining the social media platform for a while to connect with his fans, hear from them what they say and share his thoughts.

He had stated that he had not got around to the platform until now. But, after partnering with Fluence, who manages his account, Rajinikanth is now very confident that he had the best guides and the best team who would help him connect with his audience.

Rajini decided to begin his Twitter account as he had felt that the platform was busy with all the news and trends that happen across the globe and he had been told that this where all the best Rajini one-liners are!
