New Delhi, Feb 3 (): Kejriwal, AAP’s founding member and Delhi Chief Minister, according to a Noida-based writer has copied his book Bharatiya Raj Vyawastha and published it as Swaraj.
Noida district court has accepted the case of plagiarism against Kejriwal. Ajay Pal Nagar says he presented the book in March 2012 and he was shocked to see that ‘Swaraj’ published in July 2012 had almost the same content.
The author released his book published by a Delhi-based publication one year before ‘Swaraj’ and Kejriwal added some Government documents to cover up the plagiarism, says the complaint. 80% of the content is lifted from the book, the author claims.
The author’s book hit the stalls on February last year. In March, he sent a copy to Kejriwal. On seeing the book with Kejriwal as author, Nagar found that most of it were literally copied word by word. In December, he filed a police complaint but nothing came out of it. He has now moved the district court.
The complainant points out that Manish Sisodia, a Minister in Kejriwal ministry accepted that a collage of various articles were used to write the book by AAP team but the authorship is credited to Kejriwal. Nagar says that his experiences of his life as a social worker and interactions with eminent people resulted in writing the book. The author was influenced by Anna movement and when AAP was formed, he sent a copy to Kejrwal.
Meanwhile, AAP has hit back at Modi who said in a rally that the past actions against African women, Manipur women and boy from Assam has shamed the nation. AAP says Modi and Jaitley are behind the rebels led by Binny MLA.
AAP claims that their plan to reveal all about BJP and Congress is the reason. AAP founder member Bhaduri resigned after being heckled by members for demanding an apology to African women in Delhi.
