Dubai, Jan 30 (): Four teams with Indian film industry celebrities – Mumbai Heroes, Telugu Warriors, Kerala Strikers and Veer Marathi – will compete against each other on February 1 in CCL 4.
It will be an action-packed weekend in Dubai with as many as 50 of Bollywood’s leading stars along with other Indian film industry stars descending on Dubai. The fourth edition of the Celebrity Cricket League or CCL 4 will continue to bowl Dubai over as planned, with February 1 seeing the Suniel Shetty-led Mumbai Heroes taking on Venkatesh’s Telugu Warriors at 1.30 pm.
After the first match, the second match will be between Kerala Strikers led by Rajeev Pillai and Veer Marathi led by Riteish Deshmukh from 5.30pm.
The actors cum cricket players will be taking the pitch at the Dubai Cricket Stadium. This weekend’s one-day match is taking part in the third location on the league’s tour, which started in Mumbai on January 25 and ends in the final on February 23 Sunday in Hyderabad.

Captain of the Mumbai Heroes, Suniel Shetty, said that even though it is a team of actors, they are taking the game very seriously and said they are training very hard for the competition.
Suniel said their team have a match every morning, do warm ups and get into the nets and bat or bowl. In addition, they have a fielding session and a cool down. They try to spend three hours a day up to four times a week and play a practice match once a week to get ready for the matches.
The Mumbai Heroes have always won their matches in Dubai and this year too the team is hoping to recreate the same victory moments, though Shetty says he is concerned about the competition.
The brand ambassadors of Mumbai Heroes are Salman Khan, Kangana Ranaut, Chitraganda Singh and Nargis Fakhri and Genelia D’Souza for Veer Marathi. Telugu Warriors’ brand ambassadors are Charmi and Richa Gangopadhyay while Bhavana and Mamta Mohandas for Kerala Strikers,who will be cheering from their sidelines.
