59th Idea Filmfare Awards 2014 winners

Mumbai, Jan 25 (): The year’s most awaited 59th Idea Filmfare Awards was held on 24th January at Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai. The event was hosted by Priyanka Chopra and Ranbir Kapoor.

Legendary athlete Milkha Singh’s biopic ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ was the big winner on the 59th annual Filmfare awards night. The film bagged maximum awards including best film, best director award for Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and the best actor award for the multi-talented Farhan Akhtar who played Milkha Singh on the big screen.

Deepika Padukone bags Best Actress award for her outstanding performance in Ram-Leela. Farhan Akhtar wins the Best Actor for Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.

South superstar Dhanush, who made his Bollywood debut with Raanjhanaa has bagged the Best Debut Actor (Male) award, whereas newbie Vaani Kapoor received Best Debut (Female) award for Shuddh Desi Romance.
