Amritsar, Jan 11 (): State Council of Educational Research & Training, Punjab which conducted the Punjab TET examination 2013 has declared the PSTET results 2013 on its official website at www.tetpunjab.com
As per the provision of sub-section (1) of Section 23 of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education (RTE) Act, 2009, National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) laid down a notification that persons appointed as teachers for class I to VIII should possess minimum qualification of TET. The Punjab TET was held on 28th December 2013.

To qualify the PSTET, candidates have to score 60% or more. Candidates who belong to SC/ST, OBC and differently abled persons will be offered 5% concession for PSTET as announced earlier by the government of Punjab. However, just qualifying the PSTET would not necessarily ensure candidate’s selection for the mentioned recruitment.
Candidates who have qualified the PSTET but are not satisfied with the scores may appear again for improving his/her score. Candidates are also notified that to obtain a PSTET Certificate, he/she may appear again and again as there are no limitations on number of attempts a candidate can make.
Candidates are notified that validity period of PSTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be seven years from the date of result declaration for all categories.
