Mumbai, Jan 11 (): Bollywood blockbuster Dhoom 3 has once again topped the box office collection chart in the Indian box office in the third week. Thrashing the new releases Mr Joe Bhi Carvalho and Sholay 3D, this action thriller has led the chart for the third time. By the end of third week (21 days), the film has surpassed Rs 275 crore mark in Indian market.
Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “Dhoom 3- All Languages 3rd Thursday Hindi Rs 1.60 Cr Tamil & Telugu Rs 0.04 Cr Total Rs 1.64 Cr Grand Total:- Rs 277.73 Cr”.
Its third week domestic collection is Rs 20.42 crores nett. Its breakup is Rs 3.14 cr on Fri, Rs 4.02 cr on Sat, Rs 5.75 cr on Sun, Rs 2.10 cr on Mon, Rs 2.04 cr on Tue, Rs 1.73 cr on Wed and Rs 1.64 cr on Thu.
The production house of Dhoom 3, Yash Raj Films has claimed action thriller ‘Dhoom 3′ has created history by becoming the first Bollywood film to gross Rs 500 crores across the world. The blockbuster, featuring Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Abhishek Bachchan, raked in Rs 500 crores by making Rs 351.29 crores in India and Rs 150.06 crores abroad, said the production house.

The movie has exceeded the previous highest-grossing Bollywood film “Chennai Express”starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.
Dhoom 3 collected 188 cr nett plus in week one and that was the highest ever. Then in its second week, the movie collected a humongous 68 cr nett plus which was highest ever 2nd week number. The film has shattered every possible record in all the circuits by some margin.
If the movie runs at this ratio, it will collect maximum of Rs 10 to 13 crores in the coming weeks. At this rate, it may not be able to score a triple century and will finish with 525 cr gross worldwide.
