Hyderabad, Jan 3 (): There is going to be a big clash for this Sankranti between two much-expected films of two Tollywood superstars, Mahesh Babu’s 1 Nenokkadine and Ram Charan Teja’s Yevadu.
Ram Charan has been eagerly waiting for the release of Yevadu. Initially, the makers have planned to release the movie on July 31, 2013 but it was delayed to avoid a clash with Pawan Kalyan’s Attarintiki Daaredi. Then, Yevadu was postponed as there was political unrest in Andhra Pradesh.
Later, it was planned to release on 19 December but the distributors wanted the movie to release for Sankranti season, so that the festival holidays would add to the collections. Finally the movie has cleared all the hurdles and is releasing on January 12, after 6 months from proposed initial release.
Now, Yevadu is all set to clash with Mahesh Babu’s 1 Nenokkadine at the box office.
Mahesh Babu and Ram Charan have clashed during Sankranthi festival in 2013 with their movies Naayak and Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. Both the films did good business at the box office and both went on to become blockbusters.
Both Mahesh Babu’s 1 Nenokkadine and Ram Charan Teja’s Yevadu have had received lot of positive response and both the films are expected to do tremendous business.
Directed and written by Sukumar, Mahesh Babu’s 1 Nenokkadine is a suspense thriller. Most parts of the movie have been shot in colourful foreign locales. The trailer shows the film has brilliant production values and are made with high Hollywood standards. The high-budget film is expected to release in nearly 1500 screens worldwide.
Whereas, Yevadu is an action thriller with lots of twists and turns that will charm all sections of audience, reports say. Second half of Yevadu will have lots of twists and will be beyond audience expectations. Director Paidipally Vamsi has worked for a long time on this script and has taken enough care to have all the commercial ingredients.
