New Delhi, Dec 26 (): Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is scheduled to be held between 1st February 2014 and 2nd March 2014.
Candidates who applied for the GATE 2014 are notified to download the admit card on the official website at www.gateapp.iitkgp.ac.in
GATE is an all India examination conducted jointly by the IISC and seven Indian Institutes of Technology such as IITs in Delhi, Bombay, Madras,Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur and Roorkee.
The GATE score reveals the virtual performance level of a candidate and is used for admissions to various post-graduate programmes in Indian higher education institutes with fiscal assistance provided to candidates by MHRD and other Government agencies.
Candidates were notified about online application form for GATE in the month of September/ October 2013 and were invited to fill up vacancies through GATE 2014.
Candidates in large numbers applied for the GATE which is scheduled to be held between 1st February 2014 and 2nd March 2014.
GATE 2014- Exam Pattern
GATE 2014 will consist of multiple-choice type as well as numerical answer type questions. Candidates will have to choose the right answers from the given choices for multiple choice type questions and for numerical type, candidates will have to enter the right number from the given number option.
To download the GATE 2014 admit card, candidates may follow the below method:
Log on to the official website at www.gateapp.iitkgp.ac.in
Find a suitable way to admit card section and click on it.
Enter user name, password and submit.
Download the GATE Admit Card 2014.
Note: Candidates are notified to possess the GATE admit card while appearing for the exam.
No candidate will be allowed to appear for the exam without GATE admit card.
