New Delhi, Dec. 21 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Kirti Azad said on Saturday that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is abusing the Congress on purpose, so that the Congress withdraws its support and releases the pressure from AAP to form a government in Delhi.
“On the one hand, the AAP is using offensive language for Congress on purpose so that, the Congress withdraws its support, and releases the pressure from AAP to form a government in Delhi. On the other hand, the Congress has lost complete ground in Delhi, and therefore is ready to give support to AAP, even though they are being abused,” said Azad.
He said that AAP is a confused party which did not know how to deal with the current situation.
“When AAP is getting the support, why aren’t they forming government? AAP is tensed about how they are going to fulfill their promises,” said Azad.
“Also, there is a big question mark on AAP taking support from Congress because they have said they would not take or give support to either the BJP or the Congress,” he added.
In a recent tweet AAP leader Kumar Vishwas had called the Congress a two headed snake. He had also called them cheaters in another tweet.
Asserting that the AAP should place a check their use of abusive language and not test the Congress Party’s patience,” Delhi unit president Arvinder Singh Lovely had accused the Arvind Kejriwal-led party of running away from its responsibility of forming a government in the national capital.
Talking to the media, Lovely had said that the AAP had got the numbers because of promises made in its manifesto and for talking badly about the Congress. (ANI)
