New Delhi, Dec 18 (Truth Dive): CBSE is set to conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on 16th February 2014 to recruit aspiring candidates for the post of Primary Teachers (Class I to V) and Upper Primary Teachers (Class VI to VIII) in CBSE affiliated schools.
Successful candidates will be considered as eligible to be appointed as teachers in any states across the country.
CTET 2014 Exam Pattern
CTET 2014 will have two papers such as Paper –I and Paper –II.
Candidates willing to be selected as primary teachers for Classes I-V will be appearing for Paper – I.
Candidates willing to be selected as secondary teachers for Classes VI-VIII will be appearing for Paper – II.
Candidates willing to be selected as teachers from Classes I – VIII will be appearing for both Paper I and Paper – IIs
CTET 2014 notification
Totally there would be 150 questions with a total of 150 marks, each carrying one mark.
Candidates will be provided with multiple choice questions with four alternatives out of which one answer has to be ticked by the candidate.
No negative marking will be provided for wrong answer.
Candidates appearing for the CTET 2014 will either be writing the examination in Hindi or English medium.
Candidates will have to score at least 90 marks out of 150.
Passing percentage for CTET will be 60%.
Candidates will be offered 2:30 hours for writing the examination.
