Jalandhar, Dec 1 ():National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jalandhar has announced recruitment notification of 104 vacancies for Asst Professor posts in various departments on contract basis.
Eligible candidates who are capable to fill the vacant posts are invited to attend the walk- in-interview on 9th December 2013.

Age limit
Candidates who wish to attend the interview should not exceed 60 years of age.
Educational qualification
Candidates must possess the below qualification besides possessing first division at Master’s or Bachelor level in the appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology/ Science/ Humanities (English)/ Management.
M Tech/ M Phil/ MBA/ Related area of Management (Commerce, Public Administration, Engineering Law, Mathematics, Statistics, Psychology, Economics, Business Economics and Sociology)
Ph D candidates will be given special preference.
Selection Process
Selection of candidates will be based on the performance in walk-in-interview.
