Mumbai, Nov 13 (): Singer Kailash Kher has made a special song for the master blaster Sachin Tendulkar called Sachin Anthem to pay tribute to the great cricketing legend.
Kailash Kher has composed and sang the song – “Sachin Anthem” in just three days. He said he finished the song in three days. In those three days, he had done composing to recording and production. Kher is a big fan of Sachin and this song has Kailash’s love and emotions for him.
Sachin bids adieu to cricket after his 200th test match against the West Indies from November 14 to 18. So, the 39-year-old singer Kailash Kher, who is known for hits like ‘Teri Deewani’, ‘Tauba Tauba’ and ‘Ya Rabba’ among others, has composed the special anthem. He has also planned to sing the anthem on November 14 at Wankhede stadium, Mumbai.
Kher told in an interview that the world had many good people but some were really rare. He added he had been impressed by the spirit of Sachin’s game. His tribute song to the great cricketer had been named ‘Sachin Anthem’ because that was the most apt name he could come up with.
With much of excitement, Kher said the special song was his tribute to Sachin. The tribute song talks about the glory of master blaster and explain why he became the pride of the nation. The song can be heard online on the singer’s website.
At a time when the whole country is sad about the retirement of the batting legend, Kailash is hopeful that the special song might give him a chance to collaborate with Sachin. The singer said after the retirement of the player, he would request Sachin to sing with him someday, which would be of great fun.
The song will be available on the website of Kailash for a month so that people can download it for free. The video will also be open on his Youtube channel from Nov 14, the day Sachin will play his last match in Wankhede stadium in Mumbai.
