Box office collection : Krrish 3 crosses 150 crore mark, all set to make 200 crore

Mumbai, Nov 7 (): Diwali release movie Krrish 3 is doing fabulous business. Released on November 1 at around 4000 screens, the movie starring Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut and Vivek Oberoi crossed the 150 crore mark on its sixth day of release November 6, Wednesday.

Trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#Krrish3 crosses ₹ 150 cr mark in India. Wed: Rs 18.11 cr. Total: Rs 152.98 cr. FABULOUS”.

The first five-day collections at the box office took the total to Rs. 134.87 crore. On Wednesday, Krrish 3 added another Rs. 18.11 crore net to its kitty, taking the total to 152.98 crore.

On an average, ‘Krrish 3′ is making around Rs 20 cr daily, which means the movie will cross the Rs 200 cr mark by second weekend. Taran said Krrish 3 will be the third film to join the 200 crore club after 3 Idiots and Chennai Express.

Taran tweeted, “Expecting #Krrish3 to cross Rs 200 cr mark in India by Wknd 2. Will be 3rd Hindi film to join Rs 200 cr Club, after #3I and #ChennaiExpress”.

Hrithik Roshan has taken his second successive 100 crore hit after Agneepath (2012). Now, he has joined Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor and John Abraham, who all have two centuries against their names.

Krrish 3 team is overjoyed on seeing the massive response to the movie. The audience response to the film has been fabulous right from the opening day. Hrithik Roshan and Vivek Oberoi have been visiting the cinema halls to meet the fans and thank them.

On Monday, business of Krrish 3 raised to a record-breaking high of Rs 35.91 crore, which is the highest single-day collection for any Bollywood film till date. The film also has beaten Hirthik’s highest grosser so far – Agneepath (120 crore).

After creating many records at the box office, the countdown for the film has now begun to race towards the 200 crore mark. Krrish 3 is set to enjoy the supremacy at the box office till November 15, when Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Ram-Leela will hit the screens.
