New Delhi, Oct 22 (): The IBPS is getting ready to conduct the highly competitive examination of Common Written Examination (CWE) in the month of November 2013.
Candidates appearing for this exam may download the admit card and take note of the other important dates of the IBPS schedule which is given below.
Applicants who are preparing to appear for the written examination can also refer the previous question papers which may help the candidates to some extent.
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) earlier announced the recruitment notification for filling up the post of Clerks in 19 Public Sector Banks as well as other participating Bank/Financial Institutions in India for which written exam will be held in the month of November/December 2013.
Candidates appearing for this exam have already been notified about eligibility criteria, application procedures, and selection method. The CWE Clerk III exam is a mandatory requirement for candidates to be selected for clerical cadre posts in public sector banks.
CWE Clerk III syllabus 2013
The written test paper for clerical posts will contain 5 subjects such as English, Logical Reasoning, Numerical Ability, General Awareness and Computer Knowledge.
Totally,there will be 200 questions which will be of objective type carrying 1 mark for each question.
Negative marking is in place- 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
Each paper will carry 40 marks.
Candidates appearing for this exam will be given 2 hours duration.
>Logical Reasoning-Consists of verbal & non-verbal questions. While verbal ability includes similarity, decision making, word formation, progression, classification, sitting arrangement and problem solving, non-verbal questions consists of finding any missing figure and classification.
>English Language- Includes synonyms, antonyms, word formation, comprehension, topic grammar, passive voice, indirect & direct speech and general usage.
>General Awareness -Includes questions primarily related to current affairs like politics, banking, economy, sports, finance, culture etc
>Numerical Ability & Quantitative Aptitude – Contains multiple choice questions based on arithmetic & data interpretation such as bar graphs, pie-charts, line graphs & tabulation.
>Computer Knowledge & Awareness– Questions will be based on both hardware and software.
