New Delhi, Oct 18 ():Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is considered the most spirited and aggressive exam among MBA aspirants who take MAT for admission into Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and equivalent MBA programs offered by participating MBA institutes.
The MAT is considered to be one of the most essential entrance tests for admission in PGDM in which students of all streams including arts, science, commerce, medicine, engineering, and architecture can track a career in Management after qualifying the MAT entrance examination.
In India, a large number of MAT aspirants take the aptitude test every year as it is likely to place the candidate in a reputed and AICTE approved B-school.
MAT Eligibility
Candidates who apply for MAT requires a minimum qualification of graduation in any discipline from any recognized University or equivalent.
Undergraduate students doing final year can also apply for MAT.
MAT has no age limit and requires no experience as well. Students also need not worry about percentage.
Legitimacy of MAT Score
MAT scores are valid for one year which helps candidates in getting admissions in various management programs like PGDM in Insurance Management, HR, Marketing, Finance Operations, and International Business.

Time duration – 150 minutes
Question type
MAT entrance exam covers five sections out of which scores from the first four sections will likely generate the final scores.

Reasoning Ability 40
General Awareness 40
Total 200 marks
