Mumbai, Oct 18 (): Popular TV show ‘Bade Acche Lagte Hain’ on Sony Entertainment Television has finally completed 500 episodes on Wednesday, October 16.
Bade Acche Lagte Hain features Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar as lead actors. The show started in May 2011 as the story of a 40-plus businessman and a 30-plus woman, who in spite of having different personalities discover love after they marry.
Bade Acche Lagte Hain started on May 30, 2011 and is an adaptation of the Hindi novel ‘Patrani’ by Imtiaz Patel. On Wednesday, October 16, Bade Acche Lagte Hain completed 500 episodes, a feat that only few successful Indian soaps claim.
In the leap of 9 years, the show has introduced its audiences the new generation of the show. Completely fresh faces and a new storyline are introduced but what remains the same is their lead stars Ram and Priya being the favorite Jodi of its time.
The story has already taken three leaps. The first was when Ram and Priya separated after her conviction in a false case and she gave birth to Pihu. The second came when they reunited and started living happily until Ram lost his business to Priya’s sister. And now we have the children all grown-up with Pihu (Akshita Kapoor) as the focus of the story.
Bade Acche Lagte Hain has also received several awards for its interesting story line and power-packed performances by lead actors Ram Kapoor (Ram) and Sakshi Tanwar (Priya).
Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar have both won The Dada Saheb Phalke Academy Award for their roles.
The current track shows Sakshi’s character Priya in coma, and Ram, who plays a business tycoon in the show, taking immense efforts to bring her back to normality. It is said Pihu, their on-screen daughter will turn into a negative character and also heard that Rajat Kapoor (Samir Kochhar) is coming back to the show.
