New Delhi, Oct 13 (): The audio equipment giant Bose has launched three SoundTouch WiFi music systems, namely SoundTouch Portable, SoundTouch 20 and SoundTouch 30. The soundTouch portable and SoundTouch 20 are priced at Rs. 32512.50 while Soundtouch 30 priced atRs. 52,763.00.
Bose said in a release, “Users can start with any SoundTouch system and add others for a multi-room experience: play the same music in every room, or different music in different rooms, indoors or out.”
Bose SoundTouch 30 Wi-Fi system a larger speaker designed for larger living spaces uses Wi-Fi to stream music from the Internet and also from networked device. It measures 10x 17×7 inch (width x height x depth). It weighs just 9lb and comes equipped with a sub-woofer. The featured waveguide technology and new proprietary woofer which delivers deep, rich sound and the power to serve as a home’s main music system. SoundTouch speakers can be controlled individually by using a dedicated Apple or Android app. The device will be able to access Pandora and also more than 1,000 Internet radio stations. It will be Bose’s new ecosystem for wireless multi-room music.
The app has quick slots for storing your playlist, album, favourite radio station, artist or song. These slots are in the speaker itself it can be used by pressing it, after the slots are assessed. This also can be assessed by the system’s included remote.
The company also offers the SoundTouch controller, which is an accessory controller that works with all SoundTouch system. It is designed in a circular design which features volume dial and proximity sensor.
The other model SoundTouch 20 WiFi system of size at about 7X12x4 inch (width x height x depth) can be used in the bedroom. Lastly, the SoundTouch portable of size at about 6 x 10 x 3 inch (width x height x depth) comes with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery which lasts between 3 to 6 hours on a full charge. The SoundTouch 20 and SoundTouch 30 both offer Ethernet connectivity.
These three models will be available by Mid-November, 2013, in India.
