Navratri : Famous Bollywood garba and dandiya songs

Oct 11 (): Navratri garba is about a riot of colours, merrymaking and dancing. Now, we can take a look at the list of the most liked Navratri songs from Bollywood cinema.

Dholi taro dhol baaje – Film “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam” was released in 1999 and its song Dholi taro dhol baaje became a hit dance number during the nine-day festival. Even after 14 years, the song featuring Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai tops the Navratri songs list to which people still enjoy dancing.

Radha Kaise Na Jale – This song from Aamir Khan starrer “Lagaan” where Aamir Khan and Gracy Singh flawlessly sway to the garba beats. The song is an ideal garba number and makes you dance even when you are in a low mood.

Sabse bada tera naam – A classic garba and dandiya number from the film “Suhaag”. The song that stars Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha has a spiritual touch to it and is dedicated to Sherawali Maa. This devotional track sinks you in the true spirit of the festival.

Dola Re Dola – Song from “Devdas”, in which Aishwarya Rai dances with Madhuri Dixit. With music by Ismail Darbar, the song has fast pace and great choreography. Although this song has the backdrop of Durga Puja, people love swaying to it in garba functions as well.

Chand aaya hai – It is not a popular garba song, but it is a beautiful garba number by musical maestro A R Rahman featuring Sonali Bendre in “Dil hi dil mein”.

Hey shubhaarambh – The song from “Kai Po Che” has traditional Gujarati beats that are perfect for a fun round of garba.

Bani Bani – From the movie, “Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon”, is a decent mixture of raas and garba. It is a very popular Navratri song that has Hrithik and Kareena dancing away to garba beats in rhythm.

Nagada sang dhol – This latest garba dance number features Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Ram-Leela”. The song has vibrant, colourful and energetic moves.
