New Delhi, Sep 24 (): South Korea mobile maker LG has announced the launch of its Vu series LG Vu 3. After launching Optimus G Pro and G2 smartphone successfully, LG launches its model Vu 3 to compete with Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Sony Xperia Z1. LG says VU 3 will be officially launched on September 27, 2013.
The Vu 3 is the second smartphone in the series that sports a 5.2-inch IPS display with a 960 x 1280 pixel resolution with a 4:3 aspect ratio. The resolution results in 307 ppi pixel density. The smartphone LG Vu 3 runs on a powerful 2.26 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chip with four Krait 400 CPU cores and Adreno 330 GPU as well as 2GB of RAM. The device is supplied with running Google’s latest Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
It is equipped with a 13 megapixel rear facing camera for video and photographs with LED Flash 1080p video recording at 30 fps and also with 2.1 megapixel front facing camera for video calling. There are also some rear speakers that are promised to deliver high quality 24 bit/192KHz audio. It comes with a built-in rubber rhodium pen for writing and drawing.
The handset will support LTE-A connectivity with speeds of up to 150Mbps. The other features include 4G, LTE capability, Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and Micro-USB. It is powered with 2610 mAh removable battery. The device comes with dimensions 132.1x 85.6 x 9.4mm and weighs 161 grams.

The company has said that the Vu 3 will be available in Korea from September 27 with all major carriers.
