Mumbai, Sep 12 (): Grand Masti is a sequel of the hit film, Masti, which was released in 2004. The movie promises to be bigger, funnier and a great entertainer. The comedy drama is said to have a double dose of humorous and funny dialogues.

Story line: Three married guys Vivek Oberoi as Meet, Aftab Shivdasani as Prem and Riteish Deshmukh as Amar go out on fun experience in their college reunion in Shree Lalchand University of Technology and Science where they finally get trapped in a danger.
The film is scheduled to release in India on Friday. But, the release of the film is facing hurdles in Punjab and Haryana. The High Court in Punjab and Haryana on September 10, 2013 ordered a stay on its release. Because of its vulgar dialogues and obscene content, the lawyer Dinesh Chaddha had petitioned in the High Court. He said the movie promos were degrading women and the content of the movie was indecent.
In his petition, the lawyer had also asked Central Board of Film Certification to reconsider its clearance given to the movie and ban it across India. The petitioner further added that the movie would give an immoral message to the young generation if released.
A trailer was released on YouTube several weeks ago. The trailer shows the sequel has the theme of married men looking to spice up their sex lives. The Grand Masti trailer also had taglines as “Bumpier, Bouncier, Bigger, Broader”, with each description accompanied by appropriate visuals.
Moreover, this Bollywood comedy Grand Masti will also not release in the UAE on Thursday as planned, a top official at the National Media Council has confirmed.
“Grand Masti” is an adult comedy, but Riteish Deshmukh says despite being bold, the film won’t spoil the youth. Vivek says irrespective of the content, people of all age groups must watch “Grand Masti”, which is about friends.
