New Delhi, Aug 21 (): The University Grants Commission (UGC) has announced a notification to conduct the National Eligibility Test (NET) on September 8 for those candidates of Delhi and Ranchi who could not appear for the exam on June 30, 2013.
In a statement, the UGC has declared that it will conduct the UGC -NET again for Junior Research Fellowship and eligibility for Lectureship at Delhi on September 8, 2013 (Sunday) for students of Delhi only who could not appear in the UGC-NET that was held earlier on 30th June, 2013.
Owing to some disturbances at the Kirori Mal College centre in the month of June, the students of Delhi could not appear for the exams on June 30th, 2013,for which the UGC has decided to conduct a re-test for the Delhi students which will be held on September 8, 2013.
In the same way, students from one of the centres at Ranchi University, who faced similar problem and were unable to appear for the examination on June 30th will also be allowed to appear for the National Eligibility Test (NET) on September 8.
The UGC therefore very clearly mentions that it will be conducting the UGC-NET for Junior Research Fellowship and eligibility for Lectureship at Ranchi Centre next month on Sep 8, 2013 in the following address:
Airport Road, Doranda
Ranchi test venue (Code No. 53/03).
Note: Candidates are notified that the roll number and admit card provided earlier will remain the same.
Similarly timing of examination and other regulations will also be the same as per earlier notification for the June exam 2013.
