New Delhi, Aug 7 (): To compete with budget-friendly phones, Xolo has announced the launch of a new smartphone in India named “Xolo A500S” at a competitive price of Rs. 6,999. The special feature of the smartphone is it has an anti-theft app to protect the smartphone from data loss or thefts.
Xolo A500s is a smartphone sporting a 4.0-inch WVGA display with a resolution of 480x800p pixels and having pixel density close to 233 ppi. It has a dual-core 1.2GHz processor and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. The Xolo A500S comes with 512MB of RAM. The 1.2GHz dual-core processor is paired with Mali-400 MP graphics engine.
The phone comes with a 5MP rear camera with LED Flash and supports up to 720p video recording. It also has a VGA front facing camera. It has 4GB of built-in storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card support. The phone is powered with a 1400 mAh battery which claims up to 10 hours of talk time on 2G and up to 8 hours on 3G. It has connectivity options which include 3G, USB, WiFi802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 and a GPS support Apart from that, the handset comes with a dual SIM support (3G+2G).
