Chennai, Aug 5 (): Thalaivaa is all set to release on 9th August and is getting ready for a massive release worldwide. Meantime, few theatres in Chennai have started advance ticket bookings for the film.
Reports say the advance bookings have started in few theatres like Kasi, Rakki, Sri Ganga, SSR Pankajam, Sri Brindha, Nadhamuni, Vetri and Vetrivel across Chennai City. The other big multiplexes across the city are expected to start their bookings in a couple of days. Such an advance booking assures a 100 percent opening weekend for Thalaivaa.
Theatres have planned to screen the movie as early as 7 30 am but there might even be shows as early as 4 am and 5 am. Such a response is always met for most of Vijay’s films.
The makers of the film target the Eid weekend to score big at the box office. “Thalaivaa” is a solo release for this weekend, but it has to face stiff competition from Shahrukh Khan’s Bollywood film, “Chennai Express: and Pawan Kalyan’s Tollywood movie, “Atharintiki Daaredi”.
All three stars – Vijay, Shahrukh Khan and Pawan Kalyan have a huge market in India as well as overseas markets. So, all the three films are expected to have a 100 percent opening during the Eid weekend.
“Thalaivaa”, a commercial entertainer, has Amala Paul opposite Vijay and Santhanam, Sathyaraj and Rajeev Pillai in supporting roles. The film’s music is composed by GV Prakash.
It is one of the most-awaited films of the year. The actor’s last release “Thuppakki” was a massive hit. The teaser and trailer release of “Thalaivaa” has already generated a lot of expectations about the film.
With the hype surrounding the film, it looks like Thalaivaa will become one of the biggest openers of Vijay so far. The makers are also hoping that the film will make it big and become a huge commercial success.
